This class is suitable for seasoned beginners, intermediates, and advanced students experienced in working with clay. Participants will independently create forms through wheel throwing or hand building, emphasizing sgraffito by layering vibrant underglazes and slips and drawing on the clay surface. While the primary focus is sgraffito, the workshop will also cover advanced hand-trimming techniques, scoring, smoothing, and intuitive form refinement.
