Choose Your Project
We offer both private and open enrollment ABA sessions in a variety of projects and methods of making. Choose from 1.5-hour or 2-hour classes for hand building projects like Bird Houses, Face Jugs. Incense Cabins, and more or try your hand at wheel throwing. For those interested in larger projects, we offer longer section throwing sessions as well. The project is up to the group, but needs to be decided before arrival.
Class Times & Fees
We offer 1.5-hour and 2-hour classes every day of the week except Sunday. With the exception of Section Throwing, most projects can be completed during our 1.5-hour classes for groups of seven (7) or less. Groups of 8 or more require a 2-hour class. Pricing varies based on the number of students and type of class you choose. All fees include 6lbs of clay (or 15lbs for Section Throwing), instruction, glazing and firing. Open Enrollment - 1.5-Hour Classes: Includes making the selected project, selecting glaze or color at the conclusion of class, and a 2-3 week turnaround on ready projects.
• 4 or More Students: $90/student
• 3 or Fewer Students: $100/student
If class exceeds 1.5 hours, or students would like to add the stroke and coat color, the 2-hour class fee will be charged.
Open Enrollment - 2-Hour Classes: Includes making the selected project, using stroke and coat to glaze detail portions of the project, selecting glaze color for the entire project at conculsion of the class, and a 2-3 week turnround time on ready projects.

• 4 - 7 Students: $110/student
• 3 or Fewer Students: $120/student
Private Classes - 1.5 and 2-Hour Classes: Includes all the same features as open enrollment classes, with the added advantage of having the time, studio, and instructor reserved for yourself or your specified group.
• 1.5-Hour Class: $125/student
• 2-Hour Class: $150/student
Section Throwing
Due to time and complexity, Section Throwing projects require two (2) 1.5-hour classes or one (1) 3-hour class, plus an additional 30-minute trimming class. A Bascom staffer will contact you directly to arrange days and times based on your selection. The flat-rate of $300 per student includes 15 lbs. of clay.
Terms & Conditions
Please understand we strive to deliver a perfect piece of pottery, but glaze colors have a range of possibilities, clay has a mind of its own. If you are not satisfied, we will work with your to solve the issue. Shipped projects will incur a $25 packing and handling fee plus shipping charges. Same-day cancellations are charged 50% of the appointment fee and no-shows are charged the full appointment fee.
