Arts Education at The Bascom
The Bascom's Education Department is committed to providing life-enriching experiences through comprehensive arts education for children and adults. We offer a variety of educational programs that allow students to learn and grow in their chosen medium. Our offerings include workshops, ongoing classes, private lessons, Open Studio packages, field trips, demonstrations, and community classes designed to meet the needs of artists of all skill levels.
Our classes and workshops offer artists of all ages and skill levels the opportunity to get real hands-on instruction in a variety of mediums. Learn from professionals alongside others who share your passion for the visual arts.
Our lectures and seminars offer in-depth looks at a variety of specialized topics and interests. Hear from world-renowned artists, subject matter experts, and luminaries in the world of arts education, both on site and online.
The Bascom offers private, personalized art experiences for artists in clay, drawing, painting or mixed media. Our private lessons provide one-on-one instruction for artists to further develop and hone their skills. We can also arrange private lessons with small groups, such as art classes or for a fun and interactive party.
