Discover the magic of watercolor! This workshop helps young artists build confidence as they explore a range of techniques using pan sets, liquid watercolor, and watercolor pencils. Participants will learn to mix, layer, and experiment with vibrant color in fun and expressive ways.

Celebrate the natural beauty of our mountain home! Participants will draw, paint, sketch, and collage inspired by the plants and animals of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This workshop combines artmaking with observation and nature appreciation in a fun, creative format.

Try out different methods of handbuilding pottery. In this three-day workshop we will explore pinch pots and using slabs to create functional and decorative ceramics. Student work will be finished in a variety of ways, including underglaze and glaze, and will be fired after the class and available for pickup in two to three weeks.

Print, trade, and play! Young artists will explore a variety of printmaking techniques including Gelli printing and carved block printing. We’ll create a collection of original Artist Trading Cards and learn how to share and swap with friends. A perfect blend of creativity and connection.
