Youth Pottery: Leaf Trays
Use a real leaf to imprint texture in clay and decorate with whatever you can imagine. Feel free to bring in a leaf, or choose from the ones we will have available.

About youth pottery classes
The Bascom's Ceramics Department offers young artists an opportunity to have fun, while helping developing style, technique, form, and concept. Classes incorporate a variety of techniques using the potter's wheel, slab roller, and hand building methods. Works can be picked up a week after the final class. Scholarships are available. (Minimum of 4 students per session)
When our regular youth pottery offerings fall on inconvenient dates or times, The Bascom offers "Art by Appointment", custom designed classes for individuals or groups. For more information, please contact Frank Vickery at
