Join Cath Connolly Hudson’s Saturday Sojourn workshop to explore the Post impressionistic styles of pattern and interior scenes. We’ll explore the interior paintings of Bonnard and Matisse and create our own modern version.

One of the many questions we have with clay in a workshop environment is, how do I finish this piece? With functional pottery, there is a wide variety of glazes that are beautiful, as well as functional. In the world of sculpture, we have the option to use finishes from other art mediums and apply them onto our pieces. In this workshop, we will play and explore with a wide variety of finishes – from pastels to powdered graphite to acrylic paints and so many things in between!

Explore the magic of printmaking in this one-day workshop with artist Mia Loia. Suitable for all skill levels, the class includes creating monoprints with natural specimens and carving relief blocks inspired by wildlife. Learn to use ink and a press to craft repeatable works on paper.

During this three day workshop, your instructor, Cath Connolly Hudson will guide you through the fundamentals of painting as well as introduce you to concepts of Impressionistic style. You will explore how to use color for emotional expression and how to describe light and space. Whether you are coming back to painting or just beginning this workshop is for you.

During this 2-day, hands-on, intensive workshop with Eck McCanless, participants will learn how to make Agateware on the wheel and carve it to reveal patterns similar to wood grain or peacock feathers. I will go over all the tips and tricks I have learned from being a professional potter for the past 30 years with a sole focus on Agateware for the past 13.
