How does it work?
Whenever you register for a class or workshop online, you'll be prompted to create a user account during the registration process. The information you provide there can then be used to log in here.

- Create your username and password during the registration process
- Check your email (Don't see it in your inbox? Check your junk/spam folder and mark it as not junk/spam)
- Click on the activation link in the email and... Voila! You're good to go!

The Bascom's Education Department is committed to providing life-enriching experiences through comprehensive arts education for children and adults. Our classes and workshops are designed to meet the needs of artists of all skill levels in a variety of mediums.

REFUND POLICY (Please Read)
50% of your tuition payment is a non-refundable deposit. In the event that a student requests cancellation prior to 45 days of class/workshop commencement, he/she will be offered a course transfer or refund of 50% of the tuition payment. If a student cancels within 45 days prior to the first day of class, no refund will be made. The Bascom reserves the right to cancel any program that does not meet minimum enrollment, and full refunds will be issued.

All Ages 18 Events
Summer Blooms Monoprints
Capture the height of the glorious summer season through mono-prints and learn to create unique works in ink. Utilizing organic material from the plateau, this class will give an introduction to both gelli-plate printmaking, and pulling inked plates, utilizing the Bascom printing presses. This type of art making requires no experience and results in beautiful pieces that can be used as the basis for later prints, collages or enjoyed on their own!
Kids Clay Camp - Handbuilding Holiday Week Camp
Fourth of July week- make some of our favorite holiday projects! Ghosts, Christmas tree luminaries, and more! Student work will be fired after the class and available for pickup or shipping two to three weeks after the last class.

Kids Clay Camp - Little Kids Handbuilding Camp
Clay Camp for our youngest potters! Try out different methods of handbuilding pottery. In this three-day workshop we will explore using clay to create functional and decorative ceramics. Student work will be fired after the class and available for pickup or shipping two to three weeks after the last class.

Hot off the Press! All about Printmaking
The Bascom invites young artists to get creative with instructor Caryn Raming in this exciting introduction to printmaking. Students will explore fun techniques while experimenting with color, texture, and layered designs.
Bring a lunch or snack, and get ready to CREATE!
Ages 7–12
Kids Clay Camp - Handbuilding Camp
Try out different methods of handbuilding pottery. In this three-day workshop we will explore using clay to create functional and decorative ceramics. Student work will be finished in a variety of ways, including underglaze and glaze, and will be fired after the class and available for pickup or shipping two to three weeks after the last class.

Painting From Life with Armand Cabrera

This immersive workshop focuses on painting from life through daily studio and outdoor sessions, including still lifes and landscapes. With daily demonstrations, the class emphasizes clean color mixing, accurate value relationships, and strong composition. Individual guidance supports artists at all experience levels in a focused, engaging, and non-competitive environment.
All Ages Pottery - Christmas in July: Luminary Trees
Make a luminary tree that can be used with real or electric candles. Pottery will be available for pickup two to three weeks after class.

Killer Paintings While Playing and Growing with Bill Davidson

This comprehensive workshop introduces a structured yet flexible approach to painting that strengthens creativity, decision-making, and confidence. Participants will explore tools for design, value, color harmony, and expressive paint application, encouraging a freer, more playful approach to their work.

The Bascom invites young artists to get creative with instructor Caryn Raming in a hands-on exploration of fiber arts. Students will experiment with weaving, felting, handmade paper, and more; while playing with texture, pattern, and imaginative design.

Kids Clay Camp - Wheel Throwing Camp
Try out making pottery on the wheel. Students will practice the basics of learning to center and throwing small bowls, cups and plates. Work will be fired and glazed after the class and be available for pickup or shipping three weeks after class ends.
