Artist Bio
Judy McManus is a glass artist working out of the Jackson County Green Energy Park in Dillsboro, NC. She draws her color and form directly from the natural world around her. McManus earned a BFA from Western Carolina University with concentrations in glass and fiber arts, but did not return to glasswork until the Green Energy Park gave her a studio to reacquaint herself with the medium after years away. A longtime resident of Jackson County, she lives with her husband and two cats. Five of her eight grandchildren live just across the road.
