Artist Bio
Jeffrey Kronsnoble was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1939. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and his MFA from the University of Michigan in 1963, the year he joined the art faculty at the University of South Florida, where he later retired as Professor of Art Emeritus. His paintings and drawings have been exhibited in one-person shows at ACA Galleries in New York and in group exhibitions at the Milwaukee Art Museum, the Detroit Institute of Arts, the Chicago Art Institute, the High Museum of Art, and the National Gallery of Art. His work is held in the permanent collections of the Tampa Museum of Art, the Addison Gallery of American Art, and more than 200 public, corporate, and private collections worldwide. Kronsnoble has painted official portraits of ten federal judges and the president of Stetson University. He lives with his wife, Jeanne, in Tampa, Florida, and Tiger, Georgia.
