Shop

The Bascom’s shop is chock full of beautiful handmade gifts and treasures for family, friend, and home. The shop boasts one-of-a-kind pieces, all high-quality and in all price points, with most items affordably priced.

The shop offers a range of work by many artists, among them ceramics by Pat Taylor and other area potters; wearable, hand-woven textiles, such as scarves and embellished cowls by Marge Rohrer and bags and rugs by weaver Deborah Bryant; jewelry by Madeline Watt and Donna Tew; and paintings and folk art by Helen Newton. In addition, find mementos that are chosen as complements to a current exhibition.

When a patron makes a purchase, proceeds benefit The Bascom and the artist who made the work. Your purchase helps the arts thrive in Western North Carolina.
