Meet the Artist - Christian Palazzolo

At just 15 years old, Christian Palazzolo is already earning international recognition for his automotive photography. American-born and raised in London, he brings a cinematic, transatlantic perspective to his subjects — cars not simply documented but felt, in light that lingers.

His photograph 911 Sunset — a dusk portrait of a rare teal Porsche 911 GT3 Touring — took second place in the International Photography Awards, Auto Category. His photo London Fog, a blue Bentley captured right here, on the Plateau, in Cashiers, NC, placed in the prestigious Top 100 of the Auto Photo Awards among thousands of entries worldwide. In 2025, he completed an Artist Residency at Marriott's Art Ovation Hotel in Sarasota, Florida, closing with a VIP reception sponsored by Porsche.

Palazzolo's work will be on view in The Bascom Shop throughout June, timed to coincide with the Highlands Motoring Festival. Join him for a trunk show June 12–13, when a featured Porsche from Porsche Asheville will be on display outside.
