 In light of Hurricane Helene and the
  expected heavy rainfall in Highlands\, NC\, over the next several days\, 
 we have made the difficult decision to cancel The Bascom Clay Symposium ev
 ents scheduled for this Friday and Saturday. This also includes the cancel
 lation of the Soda Kiln Celebration and Dedication. Given the current weat
 her forecasts\, we believe this is the best course of action to ensure eve
 ryone's safety.
 We are working to reschedule the Symposium and Soda Kiln
  Celebration for 2025 and will provide updates with the new dates and deta
 ils as soon as they are confirmed. If you have any questions or need furth
