Mystical Landscape Painting

TBS Classes2022 MysticalLandscapePainting Eisenbraun 1800x700

Each student will create a small mystical landscape painting using oil paint on canvas. Students will learn: color mixing, paint application, and the use of various elements and light to add magic to the canvas. The class will run June 8 - 10, 2022, from 9:00 AM – 4:00PM. Students will work from photo references provided by the instructor, learning how to compile many different images into one painting. Day 1 will be dedicated to drawing, design and composition. On Day 2, we will start by mixing our pallets, learning about color mixing, and we will start the color block-in, learning about paint application and value. On Day 3, we will use the glazing technique to add dramatic lighting and emphasize color.
