Painting Flowers in Oil- Alive with Color, Paint and Passion!

TBS Classes2022 PaintingFlowersInOil Fiorelo 1800x700

Learn to paint flowers in oil directly with a loose and fresh approach in this 3 day workshop. Pat will share a simple approach to painting flowers using a base of transparent paints followed by opaque paints. We’ll cover how to simplify flower shapes, depict form thru observation of light and shadow patterns, mix color and add expressive brushwork to your paintings. We’ll have demo’s, instruction and one-on-one guidance as needed while you paint. On Day One, we'll paint together with photo supplied by the instructor to concentrate on learning this technique. Then you will work from your own fresh flower set-ups on days 2 and 3. Students should have some experience with oil paint.
