Low Light and Night Sky Photography

TBS Classes2021 LowLightPhotography Bookout 1800x700

This course will be a study in image making in low light. This condition may be indoors, at dusk and dawn and at night. We will concentrate on with some ambient light and conditions with very little light. These conditions may be used to make minimal images for fine art, event photographs in dark theaters or images of the night sky.

The other half of this equation is the processing of the image. Taking these higher iso images and making them web and print ready. For this we will primarily use Lightroom and Photoshop. Basic knowledge of the software is helpful but not required.

The course will be broken into lecture, planned shoots and lab time processing images and bringing them to final print.
