VolunteerVolunteers are an integral part of The Bascom. The support of a dedicated and enthusiastic volunteer team is essential to the continued growth and development of our art center. We are now on the cusp of moving into our brand-new art campus. More than ever we will rely on our volunteers to help us make this huge transition. There are eight different categories of volunteers: Gallery Docents, Hospitality Volunteers, Gallery Shop Volunteers, Clerical Assistants, Visitor Services Volunteers, Library Assistants, Teaching Assistants and Movers and Shakers (those who help with prop building, landscaping and other indoor and outdoor physical activities). We hope one of these jobs will be a perfect fit for you. We also offer internship opportunities. Our volunteers are our lifeline. We can’t thank our volunteers enough for all they have done: past, present and into the future. From serving as a Garden Festival guide to helping out at our gallery to stuffing envelopes and answering phones, they make our success – and our very existence – possible.
