The Bascom Shop has asked three very special artists 

to use their mediums in creating 

artistic expressions of

Friday, February 9 from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm the shop will be opened for extended hours during the exhibits reception.


Saturday and Sunday, the shop is partnering with Resident Photographer Vicki Provost to host a 

FREE ultimate selfie booth for Valentine's Day.  

Whether your single and want to affirm your love of self or have a special someone you want to capture a moment in time with, The Bascom's Ultimate Selfie Booth

provides a professional quality digital selfie that will last the ages.

The Bascom Gift Shop features one-of-a-kind handmade art objects by the Southeast’s finest artisans. You’ll find jewelry, pottery, fiber art, wood-turned vessels, porcelain, glass, metal, basketry, paper, mixed media and more. It’s the ‘go-to’ place for that perfect gift!

How to Submit Your Work

To propose your artwork for inclusion and sale in The Bascom's retail shop, kindly submit:
  • Portfolio of 10-15 high-resolution digital images of your original crafts or artwork (Note: The Shop focuses on usable objects: pottery, blown glassware, purses, scarves, journals, jewelry, etc.)
  • Biography with artist's statement (half page total). Comment on price range of your work.
  • Resume with name, address, phone numbers, email and website address
  • A list of galleries and retail outlets that feature your work
