The Bascom welcomes donations of materials that may be used in our youth and community outreach classes. All accepted in-kind donations are tax-deductible at their fair market value.

Examples of accepted materials are as follows:
Books: art history, fine art and book arts, magazines (book donations are handled by The Bascom’s library)
Computer and Electronic Equipment: desktop and laptop computers, computer and TV monitors, iPads/tablets, DVD players, microphones, stereo speakers, stereo receivers, PA sound systems, video/multimedia projectors
Drawing/Painting: oil and acrylic paint, pencils, markers, pastels, crayons, bristle and foam brushes
Found Natural Materials: pine cones, feathers, shells, pebbles, seeds
Fabric: sheets, shirts, smocks, towels
Glue: craft glue, hot glue, glue sticks, rubber cement
Paper: drawing, construction, watercolor, printmaking, origami, craft, rolls
Photography: working cameras, working printers, lighting equipment, photo paper, tripods
Printmaking: clean screenprinting screens, screenprinting ink, block-printing ink, brayers, linoleum blocks
Recycled Materials: egg cartons, plastic and metal containers, cardboard tubes, corks, bottle caps, photographs, keys, buttons
Safety/Protection: safety goggles, aprons, latex gloves, drop cloths
Tape: painters tape, masking tape, scotch tape
**We cannot accept: Expired supplies, toxic chemicals
