Stuempfle, others to teach at The Bascom this summer

HIGHLANDS, N.C., July 3, 2009 – A three-day course with North Carolina potter David Stuempfle, currently featured in the exhibition "The Three Potters" in The Bascom’s Loft Gallery, is just one of 17 adult classes and workshops offered at The Bascom in August.

Stuempfle, who lives and works in a private studio in the Seagrove area of North Carolina, will teach “Coil Building Large Vessels” Aug. 13-15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for intermediate to advanced pottery students.
