Eight Historic Homes, Gardens Featured In Tenth Annual Mountains In Bloom Garden Festival

HIGHLANDS, N.C., July 3, 2008 -- This week's Mountains in Bloom Garden Festival will showcase eight historic Highlands mountain gardens, as well as lectures, patron parties and the first Flower Show in Highlands since the 1940s. Tickets are still available for the festival, which runs through July 12. Proceeds benefit The Bascom, a nonprofit visual arts center.
