Thursday-Saturday
September 13-15   10 am – 4 pm

Medium: drawing
Level: I, II & III
Instructor: Knight Martorell
Tuition: $225 member/$260 non-member

The purpose of this course is to develop skills in the representation of the human form and understanding of its creative use in drawing & painting. Working with live models, the studio concentrates on anatomical proportion, light, shape, and movement. Slide discussions of master figure drawings set examples and standards. The course will increase eye-hand coordination, develop an understanding of gesture and form and help the drawing student gain the critical skills necessary when representing the human figure in art. A variety of painting media may be used in extensive observation and analysis of live models.
