The Essence of the FigureMonday-Friday
October 8-12 10 am – 4 pm Medium: ceramics Donna Polseno was born in Connecticut, where she grew up fascinated by her father's work as a painter and illustrator. When she went of to The Kansas City Art Institute, it was to become a painter like him, until a chance exposure to ceramics when she was lead into the pottery shop where Ken Ferguson and Victor Babu were teaching. The energy, creativity, passion of that studio lead to a lifetime commitment to clay. Donna has taught workshops and classes nationally and internationally and has an extensive exhibition record. Her works are in many collections including The American Museum of Ceramic Craft, R.J. Reynolds Co., The Kansas City Art Institute and the Mint Museum of Contemporary Crafts, to name a few.
