Solar Printing in Nature

This workshop will explore simple ways to connect with the beautiful natural environment of Highlands through the use of drawing, solar printing techniques such as cyanotype and van dyke brown printing, pinhole photography, and other alternative processes to make images on paper and cloth. We will use simple light sensitive materials to make exquisite images. This workshop will combine skill development, learning new techniques, exploring personal vision, critiques, and a wholistic approach to making art using light and nature as inspiration.
