A Community of Donors

The Highlands, Cashiers and Franklin communities and surrounding region have been very supportive and generous.  In just over one year, we have raised over $8 million for our capital campaign (out of a total capital budget of about $10 million).  Our support is broad-based.  In the past year, we have received donations (for both capital and operations) from over 900 individuals and organizations.  By this time next year, we expect that number to more than double. 

The community recognizes the need for a vibrant visual art center to provide inspiration through excellence in education and exhibition.  Our supporters run the gamut, including generous local and seasonal residents, local professionals and business people, multi-generation natives, parents whose children we teach, and other donors from all over the Southeast.
