Rosemary Steifel Book RaffleSpecial raffle fundraiser, benefiting The Bascom, a book of Original Watercolor Botanicals By Rosemary Clark Stiefel. Renowned Highlands artist, Rosemary Clark Stiefel, is donating a one-of-a kind hand-crafted book containing twenty of her original watercolor botanicals to The Bascom for a raffle fundraiser. The book, leather-bound and made in Italy, will feature another thirty pages of her images and text about the botanicals for a total of fifty pages.
Raffle tickets are $500 each In addition to a raffle ticket, every ticket purchaser will receive a gift of a giclee reproduction (a choice of one of the four above) suitable for framing, signed and numbered by the artist. The reproduction is 75% of the original size of the botanicals in the book. Giclee is a printmaking method using an ink-jet printer for photographic images of paintings to produce high-quality reproductions on watercolor paper stock. The end result is a giclee print that looks almost like the original. Only one-hundred of each image will be reproduced for a total of four-hundred available prints and tickets. All four images can be purchased for $2,000, affording the purchaser of four chances to win the book. All proceeds benefit The Bascom.
